“All This Love: The Best of Quiet Storm.”
Threw together another Spotify playlist last night. Weirdly, for me these songs are more “the stuff I remember hearing on FM radio in my dad’s car” and not “slow jams for you and your dude/lady.” Feel free to use ‘em for your groove sessions, though. The DeBarge, Anita Baker, Michael McDonald, and Patti Austin/James Ingram songs are in my canon.
It’s still in progress, so feel free to hit me up with anything I’m missing. I just noticed the lack of Ralph Tresvant, so there’s that.
Now that I’ve finished my top albums piece, etc. I’m going to forget about 2011 music altogether and just listen to this for the rest of the day. See you guys later.
